Andre (Andy) Reiss - Jazz Guitarist
BIO - TNT Groove International latest artist, Guitarist Andre "Andy" Reiss is a Grammy award winning artist and six time Grammy nominee. He has been an active member of the Nashville community as an educator with the Nashville Jazz Workshop and part of the Nashville music scene for more than 35 years. Along with his leadership role in the Nashville Musician's Association he is a Nashville studio mainstay. Andy has played on hundreds of records with artists including Miranda Lambert, John Oates, Amy Grant, Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers and Leon Russell. Returning to his early jazz influences, he also has recorded with many jazz greats, including Pete Christlieb, Beegee Adair, Benny Golson, and as a member of “Bad Rhythm“, an exciting jazz trio with drummer Danny Coots and pianist Brian Holland. He has also toured extensively with both the legendary Slim Whitman and Reba McEntire, and is a member of the Grammy award winning western swing supergroup, The Time Jumpers. Andy has toured internationally, playing venues as diverse as Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa and Carnegie Hall.
The new EP release, DUO, is an album woven with the incredible intuitive and unmatched stylings of two masters in the art of jazz, improvisation, and melodic narrative both vocally and instrumentally.
